Multitouch.Input service crashes on start - Win7RC1 x64

Jun 16, 2009 at 8:08 PM

Hello Guys,

My OS is Win 7 RC1 x64.

I have installed the service using the instructions (%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\installutil.exe /i Multitouch.Service.exe)

When I try to start the service, it crashes and raises "An unhandled exception  ('Lunch for user') occured in Multitouch.Service.exe", after lunching the debugger it seems it gets stuck in the StartProcess() of ProcessManager class.

Multitouch.Service.Console.exe works fine.

I have also tried to install the driver, but the bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON and reboot :) did not worked. Install driver.cmd just goes with devcon failed.

Help much appereciated :)

Thank you in advance,

Kamil
