Problems with Windows 7

Jun 15, 2009 at 5:27 PM

I tried to get multi-touch vista to work with windows 7 and ccv but the windows 7 driver does not give the coordinates correctly........

it is fully calibrated in calibration mode but if a window in open it does not give the click pointer correctly ..... it is always off by some offset

but the interesting think is while working in fullscreen mode of certain programs it gives the coordinates with less error...............

are you sure it's not a CCV related problem? did you try CCV with another multitouch app receiving tuio events?

yes i have tried other apps......

it works fine in them.........

even if u use multiple mice as the input provider you will notive that the red dot doesnt stick wherever you move your mouse (if you are working with only one mouse)........

Can you tak a video from your screen?

i can do will take some time......

in fullscreen mode the coordinates are passed perfectly......

is it the job of ccv to do the coordinate transition for windows not in fullscreen mode or of multitouchvista driver ??

but when i am using it to control windows 7 the coordinates are off.

when i press on the left side of the screen the coordinates are off bij 1 cm.

but when i press on the right side of the screen the coordinates are off bij 15cm.

and in the middel its 7,5cm :-)

Have you changed your DPI ?

We have test it work fine in 100% DPI

but have off at 125% DPI

What parameter we should set to fix the issue ?
