ScatterView from Surface to WPF and Win7

Is there any way to get the latest Surface SDK installed on Win7 64 bits. The installer checks for Vista SP1 32-bits?

I believe I need that SDK in order to use the ScatterView control which cannot be found in .Net 3.5 or 4.0. Is that true?

And when having the SDK, can I create applications for Windows 7 multitouch and not for Surface or can the SDK components only be used in Surface?

Thanks, Kind regards, Momoski

Hi Momoski,

many of the Surface SDK controls (also the ScatterView) can be found in the Surface Toolkit for Windows Touch 1.5 Beta. It is designed for Framework 4.0 and you can use it to write applications for Windows 7 with multitouch support. I'm currently using it for a Win7 project on a Surface 1.0 unit and now I'm trying to get it work together with the SurfaceInputProvider of MultiTouchVista.
